So, for the last, well long time we haven't really had a game we play consistently while waiting for ashes. We have just been playing a new game every couple weeks, which is fine but would anyone have suggestions for games we could play for longer like maybe a couple months or something? Again what we are doing now is ok but it would be nice if we could find something to play for a while...

Zeetes I very much agree with your post.

I think we should play a mmorpg that is free and available even if it's not the greatest that way we can really focus on building teamwork skills that would help us for when ashes start.

What timezone are you guys in and what would be a possible time to game?

I'm on eastern time and can play any day from 10:30 pm to 2am and Sundays anytime until 8pm

I agree, we should have a sit-down and find a game we can all play MMO wise that's, and play it as a guild. I'll set up a guild meeting for this Sunday where we can all sit down and discuss some ideas for some F2P MMOs. Write down all the games we would be down to play, what games we absolutely won't play, etc.

i'm totally down down for getting back into GW2. hopefully we could all get onto the same server if we plan to do WvW. also been playing SWTOR lately, but it's more a singleplayer story game than a MMO. there's also the PoE update coming today (jan 15) witha new league and more endgame content

We are able to join other servers for WvW even if we are not all on the same server

oh right, the server guesting, forgot about that. then we'd just have to figure out what server and tier we'd want to play on

so at launch there were different servers like other MMOs, people could only interact with others on their server. later on Arena.net implemented the megaserver, making all the servers mesh into each other so players could play with anyone playing the game. the only difference servers make now is World Vs World, a large scale pvp mode set across 5 maps. servers are meshed together in groups of 3 and put into matches with 2 other groups of servers. there's a server ranking system which creates tiers in the server ladder. the Meta for WvW changes quite a bit depending on what server / tier you play on. matches on the lower end of the ladder have more, smaller groups and individual players running around, while higher on the ladder you see massive 100-300 player groups running around taking objectives and playing very strategically.
