Ranks in KoE are broken into several sections. The first is your Normal Players, and your NCOs (Non Commissioned Officers) Normal Players are Recruit up to Specialist. These are given to those for simply participating and being active in the guild. It's simple to rank up to these, and they do not require much of anything else other than participating. Participation includes joining events, donating items, gear, gatherables, gold, as well as simply helping out other people in the game. All of these are documented by our Award System. Every award you receive you gain EXP to progress your level. The leveling system is where these come into play.

  • attacked-gray.png - Recruits are members who first join the guild. They don't have much say so in the guild, and are seen as new members no matter what. They don't have access to anything new.

  • burning-blue.png - Members are people who reach level 1 in the guild. They don't have access to anything new.

After this rank you have to chose what branch you wish to go down. PvP, PvE, Gathering, Crafting, and Basic are your choices.

PvPs for those who wish to spend most of their time doing PvP content such as player killing, sieges, arenas, and other content related to player killing.

PvEs for those who wish to do more PvE content such as Raids, Dungeons, Bosses, and non player related combat. Gatherings for those who wish to spend their time mostly gathering items, resources, etc. for the guild.

Craftings for those who wish to take the gathered resources and turn them into items for the guild. Lastly, you have Basic, this role is for those who wish to progress through the rankings to benefit the guild more than doing specific sections.

The Basic members are there to help in various different ways. Gathering gold through stocks, exploring new locations for the guilds, forming alliances with other groups, and more. This section is for more behind the scenes, and is extremely needed for the guild.

  • generic-gray.png - Dedicated Members are those who reach level 2 in the guild. They don't have access to anything new.

  • level1-gray.png - Privates are those who reach level 3 in the guild. They don't have access to anything new.

  • protected-gray.png - Specialists are those who reach level 5 in the guild. They have access to planning events. This is the last rank you're able to achieve through the leveling system in the guild.

The next section begins your NCO ranks. These ranks are no longer given to anyone. To achieve these ranks you must meet all the requirements, and they change based on the needs of the guild. In order to progress through the rankings you not only need to be engaged in the guild, but you must also show that you're a leader, and have leadership capabilities, be able to lead successful events, have knowledge in the game and the section you're in, and a few others. These ranks are given to those who go above and beyond and show they have what it takes to lead successful missions, events, and can plan events that everyone enjoys as well as benefits from. These ranks give you power, and say so over the under class ranks, and as such you must show maturity and not allow that rank to go to your head. Having any warnings under your account could prevent you from achieving the next rank, so make sure you stay within the rules at all times!

level2-gray.png - Corporals are the first NCO tier. You're in your testing phase. You will end up taking orders from the higher tiers most of the time, and be taken under their wing to learn how the NCO mechanics work. You will be required to host events of your own, and shadow others in larger events.

level3-gray.png - Sergeants are the official NCOs. This rank is in charge of their own group, hosts their own events frequently, as well as must teach the Corporals how to do their jobs. You will have to make decisions, as well as potentially punish others that act out or do not follow the rules. This is the first rank with the power to mute others, and put punishments on others. You MUST abide by all the rules as well as ensure all others do the same.

star-gray.png - Generals are the highest rank you can achieve. This rank comes with great responsibility. Only a handful of people will ever make it to this rank, and you will control the full section of the guild that you achieve the rank in. You must not just be proficient in that section, but also be a sage at it. Knowing your stuff, and ensuring that others know what's going on is extremely important. You have to have the ability to see the larger picture and ensure that all your actions have minimum negative repercussions to them. You will be required to make your own decisions, and be able and willing to discuss anything and everything with the 4 Star and Owner directly to ensure that everything functions perfectly. There may even be a time you run your own version of the guild if we get big enough.

The rank structure requires all others to talk and communicate with one another, especially when you get into the NCO positions. You will need to put your ego aside, and ensure that the guild functions as it should. Relay any issues up the chain of command as needed, and ensure that all others follow the rules, and structure of the guild. This is a relaxed guild, however our rank structure is not and that is to ensure an organized, and efficient game play so those who do not wish to become NCOs can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.
