Movie Night?

Goooooood Morning my friends!

Who would be interested in a movie night? I'm thinking.. 2-3 movies, no need to stay for more than you're interested in, and no commitments to come at the start, pop in and out as you like. I'm subscribed to a few streaming services, so i think we could probably find something to watch.

What genres would we be interested in or would a variety work?
I have Netflix, Disney+ and I believe I still have Stan. I also have access to the horror streaming service, Shudder.

I just want to know if this is something people would be interested in

I feel like this would be difficult to organize, but if you could get it to work the idea of hosting a guild movie night sounds kind of cool.

I know it would be, but it's gonna be something easy for people to attend if they want, and we can run it a few times if we get enough interest, like 2movies each day for a couple days.

Yeah it would be great since anyone could attend, and would probably lead to some fun inside jokes, the problem arises mainly from how to stream the stuff since I think some programs have found ways around screen recording so their shows can't be pirated. Which means they might also block screen sharing, and we would have to find a way to share with minimal problems (this isn't too hard). To be clear its an amazing idea I'm just saying we should probably run some tests before organizing anything, but it should definitely be something we can pull off.

I've streamed Netflix to my friends before, and I can test with a few of them with other streaming services to see what ones might have issues and how to overcome them. The easiest option is just having one person streaming in a channel at a time, with the others watching

Oh ok yeah then if you've done it before this should go great, I'm not being sarcastic when I say that means this should go way smoother than most events we plan then.

No I completely understand about the events. We just need to keep trying and keep going and it'll build. I might make another post when I sort out my own timetable, of when we might hold the first movie night
