Dungeon and Dragons 5e with guidlies

Hello yall.

Your friendly Dungeon Master is looking to run some game for you guys and get to know you guys a little better. I am going to be running a "western march" style dungeon delver. That means every time you play your character grows and you keep it, but you are not required to make every session. The story is that recently discovered in the woods the the east of Never winter were a system of caves that were linked and heavy laden with treasures,traps,monsters, and surprises. Many groups go into these strange magical cave systems hoping to find riches and glory, but not every one makes it out!! The king of Never winter has set up a little Inn near the cave delving where people can rest and stock up before making the dive.

So, here are your options:
A) If you have never played DnD and need help creating a character, please respond on the forum and we will set up a time to create your character.
B) If you want to create your character with out my help, then here is a link to the campaign to create your character using DnD Beyond.
-We will be using the point buy system for your stats. Every book so far is purchased and using my link should allow your to access it all.

Have fun!! As soon as we get 3-5 people with characters ready, I will get scheduling up.

I think i can make a character but i would rather work on it with someone else and that way i can ask some questions about if there's any homebrew rules and stuff.

Awesome. Tomorrow ill be available from 2pm till 7pm eastern time to chat in the voice channel. Join as long as you do not mind my kiddos running around kn the back ground. I'm more than happy to play. I have time on the weekends and weekdays between 7 PM and 11 PM if necessary. I have played a bit, more as the DM than as a player which has been a bit sad for me even though I do find it fun to DM. I went and made a character on dndbeyond but haven't added any equipment. If you have anything to discuss in terms of setting (I'm assuming normal D&D with the sue of Neverwinter) or character hooks/backstory I'm more than happy to link up when you have time. I am going to head off to work now but like I said before I should be available by 7 PM. Hope this works out.

I see your character. Also, point buy, but if you want to use the rolling option do 4d6 drop lowest if that is an option. I forgot that dnd beyond has an autoroller for stats. I will have to look at that to make sure it is fair. Unless you are ok with playing a character with low stats?
