Me:
Hello everyone. I'm a bit of an introvert so if I'm a bit awkward or slow to communicate please just bear with me. I'm a 21-year-old college student (computer science) and I have a small amount of experience with MMOs. I have played WoW in the summers but never really got too into it past leveling and some dungeons as I didn't know anyone who played, and I wasn't prepared to invest enough time and money to dig for a good guild while taking classes/working. I've played Guild Wars 1 and 2 as well but again didn't do much past leveling. I've always been a bit put off by how unimportant professions seem in MMOs, which definitely seems like a problem that Ashes intends to solve. My games of choice currently are some casual league of legends, minecraft, rimworld, and mount and blade 2: Bannerlord. I have also enjoyed a fair amount of civilization 5, hearts of iron 4, and cities skylines. My Class:
I'm hoping to play summoner, possibly conjurer, if the class ends up being something I like. Personally, in terms of combat I'm hoping for a good amount of active control over the summons to make the class somewhat of an RTS as I've played warlocks in WoW and the summons were cool, but seemed a bit passive for my taste. What I'd really hope for is utility outside of combat. The ability to summon a rhino to haul ore or a giraffe to act as a cherry picker to get resources from treetops would be really cool to me. I've played druids in WoW and even though a travel form isn't really better than a mount, it always seemed cooler to me so if that is an option it definitely pulls the archetype up in my preferences. I haven't seen much about the summoner so if anyone has information on it I'd be very interested to hear about it.My Plans:
I'm not sure what my primary goal would be in terms of Gathering, Crafting, PvP (probably not my main goal), PvE, and Basic but I plan on leaning towards Crafting and PvE. I am always happy to help others and I think that supporting crafters and gatherers who have more time to put towards the game would be a lot of fun for me and helpful for the guild. Whether it is acting as a caravan runner, gathering materials, or anything else that is deemed helpful I'm down. If I have the time to really get invested into the game that would be my dream and I love taking economic routes in any game that I can, so the trading possibilities in Ashes are really exciting for me. Unfortunately, I am currently taking college courses and will be spending the summer and fall (May-December) working a 9-5. Hopefully, they'll also hire me once I graduate in 2022 otherwise I'll have to find another employer to pay for my Ashes of Creation subscription.Hoping to get to know you all better and contribute to the fun and success of this guild,
