D&D Nights? Any Takers?

I think a D&D Campaign would be an awesome way to promote camaraderie among guild members, teach strategy, drink beer, and keep members active till the Ashes launch.

We'd need volunteer(s) for DM, and there is definitely enough of us for more than one session/campaign.

Any thoughts/takers? Drop a reply!

i would be interested in playing my D&D knowledge is pretty limited tho but i can read up on that if it ever comes to it. Are there any good ways to play it online though?

Yep! roll20 is a big one, but I know for sure that there are more. I'm gonna let this post simmer a little and see how many people express interest and if we can pull any volunteers to DM.

With my classes up and running, I'm not too sure if I'd be able to play, but I did play in 2 campaigns earlier this year. I highly recommend Roll20 for the board/map of the area and highly highly highly recommend DnD Beyond for your character sheets. It's very intuitive, auto levels stats on level up, lets you know when you have skills up, current available moves, a very nice dice feature, as well as a lot more. Plus, if everyone gets together on one global account, you can purchase expansions and everyone would be able to create characters under one account, so you don't have to pay too much. I'm always down for a D&D group. Depending on the edition I can DM moderately well but I do prefer playing.

I'd be interested in playing if it's a laxed enough ruleset. I'm not one for overly complicated rules, or following the book like it's law (you're the DM you set the law) I personally don't like the whole taking food, clothing, etc. thing as well. We normally just did a thing where you have food in your inventory that's at least enough for the adventure ahead and you're good. No food breaks, etc.

I've got a PHB character and an Eberron character. Right now I can start around 10pm ET, but eventually I will only be able to play from 9am to around 2 or 3 pm, depending on the time of year.
