Hi woof! I’m Josh.
You can call me Josh or Pup, those are my nicknames.
Yes, I woofed. Where I’m from it’s how we say hello, I’m part wolf if that makes any sense 0.0 to you.
…
Well, I would like to tell you my story so you can get to know me a little better.
Darkness has fallen on the land, a young empyrean boy prays to his deity Shol. Asking his beloved God of Truth for the strength to seek vengeance for the murder of his father, brother, and to protect the innocent. “Fire” the young empyrean calls for its force of light and truth within the realm. “Fire!” he screams, to the north and the east, yet darkness covers the land. His hopes are down, his spirit is dim as he ponders in the darkness, wondering if the God heard his cry. A few moments pass and flickering of lights merge in the distance shining closer and closer to the young boy. “Ember…” the boy whispers in a quiet dispirited voice, “it’s just ember” he thinks to himself. The night grew cold and the boy lost all hope. More embers fill the sky, “the fire is getting closer” the boy mutters, too cold to move and too hungry to care. Suddenly, the boy hears someone approaching, frightened and alone for his departed father and brother was all he had. With the little strength he has he grabs whatever is near him. “I will not die not before I avenge my father and brother.” he utters. A dark figure emerges from the ember glowing sky, the boy's fear peaks and with a battle cry, the boy charges the silhouette with all his might. Stopped by the heavy clang of steel the boy looks up at the massive shield with an unmistakable crest. The boy, with eyes wide, tears running down his face not in fear or anger but of relief knowing that his beloved Shol heard his prayers. That the shadowy figure was not death coming for him but the protector of light and truth a Knight of Ember. The boy realizes at this moment where his fate is bound and his duty lies. The young impressionable empyrean boy heeds the call to arms, like his father before him.
So our journey begins.
Putting storytelling aside, let me tell you about myself. I'm from South Florida, haven’t played MMORPGs in a good while... you know life and stuff. Recently I learned about Ashes of Creation and I’m hooked, so I’m going into this with as much excitement and energy as life permits. I do play other games as well, recently getting into Final Fantasy XIV.
For AoC, I’m already looking into playing Empyrean Ranger / Sentinel unless I'm needed somewhere else, as long as I’m not a healer, I’m happy playing any position.
Note: I’m always open to constructive criticism and pointers.
Legends tell of the origin of the order “Since the dawn of time, fire has ruled the world. After a magical chimera gave birth to a new Phoenix that Phoenix gave birth to Knights. Thus starting Knights of Ember. Set to cleanse the world of all Chakra we destroyed the air benders as the fire nature with our dragon balls that Summon pocket creatures. Now, we have gone into the land of verra through our nerve gear to rid that land of all hallows.”

I'd be completely down for that
