so at launch there were different servers like other MMOs, people could only interact with others on their server. later on Arena.net implemented the megaserver, making all the servers mesh into each other so players could play with anyone playing the game. the only difference servers make now...

i'm totally down down for getting back into GW2. hopefully we could all get onto the same server if we plan to do WvW. also been playing SWTOR lately, but it's more a singleplayer story game than a MMO. there's also the PoE update coming today (jan 15) witha new league and more endgame content
