Alpha 1 AoC

So from what i understand, theres a few guys in the guild have access to alpha 1 in AoC when that comes out. I was wondering if you guys had any plan of sorts as to what you wanted to do in the alpha 1 or if you guys were open to take "requests" from people in the guild :o

For you, no. Jking. Im down to take some request. I might even twitch for the first time. (Just gameplay screen) The only thing is it would all be during the morning time for you peps because im currently in Korea. Also by request I take it you mean testing all the classes, looking into different skill sets, trying different professions, correct?

Yea just different aspects of the game. it seems like there is so much to explore so it would be interesting to know what people plan on doing during their alpha 1 stage.

I will personally be playing around with gathering and crafting but I'm open to other suggestions if people were interesting in certain things.

I'll be testing out things I wish to test out first. But then I've already stated I'll be willing to test out anything else others wish for me to. I'll also be streaming the whole thing every step of the way for others to view if they wish to. Any time I'm playing it, I'll be streaming it during Alpha 1.

That's a good idea. I'll work on a list here soon!

Also, who all will be testing the Alpha? And willing to do this, I'll give you a special role so we can see who requested, and what the request is.

Well the reason why i opened up this thread was to have a place where people could discuss everything about Alpha 1 (before it launches and after its launched) so that it doesnt get lost in the discord channel spam. Would it be a bad idea to have a Alpha 1 badge on this forum so we know whos got access?

Hey Reaper, you won't be able to gain access at this time unless they reopen it to the public. I bought it through Kickstarter years ago back before they did crowd funding on their own website.

- record what you are doing (streamlabs and others allow for recording a monitor)
- explain what you are doing and seeing as those who watch your vid won't have that first touch context to help understand.

I want to see the mechanics for crafting, would love to see a list of Paladin, Guardian, and Brood Warden abilities if at all possible. I'd also be interested in the taming/ breeding mechanics. Also if there's ever a big node siege I'd like to see that whole system in action. From the battle setup phase all the way to what happens after holding/taking. Thanks

I'll definitely be working on the crafting aspect, specifically blacksmithing. In Alpha 1 we'll be capped to level 20 so we won't get to see any augmented abilities for the classes, just the base archetypes. In Alpha 2 we should get to see how the secondary archetypes interact and the provide further information.

If I am being honest, I know I want to be a summoner, but I want to know more about taverns, and owning a business in game, because I want to mainly focus on business dealings and some sprinkles of pvx here and there.

The summoner isn't in this set. It's just 5 classes, so I'll be testing out Cleric off the bat.
